Buying Guide
Mechanical vs Membrane
Mechanical keyboards use individual switches under each key. They're more durable (50-100 million keystrokes), offer better tactile feedback, and allow faster typing. Most serious gamers prefer mechanical.
Membrane keyboards use rubber domes under a single membrane. They're quieter and cheaper but less responsive and durable. Good for casual gaming on a tight budget.
Switch Types
Linear (Red): Smooth keypress with no tactile bump. Best for gaming, especially FPS.
Tactile (Brown): Small bump when pressed. Good all-rounder for gaming and typing.
Clicky (Blue): Loud click sound and tactile bump. Great for typing, can annoy teammates in voice chat.
Form Factors
Full-size (100%): All keys including numpad. Takes more desk space.
Tenkeyless (TKL / 80%): No numpad. More mouse room for low-sens gamers.
60-65%: Compact, no function row or arrows. For minimalists only.
Our Testing Process
We test keyboards in competitive games like CS2, Valorant, and League of Legends. We measure actuation force, key travel distance, and polling rates. Each keyboard is used for at least 40 hours of gaming to assess comfort and durability.
